First method to change the color tone of your image in black and white is to use the easy access and the method of the layer of color saturation. This method completely de-saturates all pale colors in your image and converts it into a black and white colorless. Now, after the acquisition of the desired image, it is recommended to create a double bottom and name it accordingly. Then you need to separate the lights and shadows of your image. To do this, go to the Layers palette and click on "create a new filling" to select "Threshold". Selecting "threshold" will transform your photo to black and white.
